Store Policies for Castle Rock Bike and Ski

Once you start riding your new bike, you’ll probably discover there are accessories you’ll want that will make your riding experience easier and more enjoyable. We offer customers a 10% discount on all accessories within 30 days of the purchase of a new bike.

A new bike is a lot like a new house and things will “settle” as you ride your bicycle. All adjustments are free for the first year.

We’d like to see your bike at least twice in that first year to take care of the basics so they don’t become big problems later on.



If there’s a problem with anything you bought from us, bring it back within seven (7) days of purchase. Merchandise must be returned in new condition and with the original packaging in place.

We also would like to see your receipt. If you don’t have a receipt or it’s been longer than seven (7) days since you purchased the item, we’ll be happy to give you a store credit.

Labor fees are not refundable. Parts that have been installed on a bike are also non-refundable.


We require a 20% non-refundable deposit on all layaways. Layaways are expected to be paid in full within 90 days.

Repairs and Tune-Ups

Repairs must be paid in full before we will return your equipment to you. We are good at what we do and we stand behind our work. But if you have an issue with any repair, please contact us and bring it back so we can fix it.

We will make every effort to contact you when the repair or tune-up is completed. If bikes or snowsport equipment is not picked up within 30 days after the repairs and/or tune-ups are complete, we will charge you $10/week for storage. The equipment will be considered the property of Castle Rock Bike & Ski after 90 days.
